Idealistic claims are the dead ends of our thoughts. We have the capacity to perceive, but unfortunatrly we assume that our perception is independent from that capacity. We pretend that our perception is the materiality as it actually is, rather than filtered through ourselves.

Generally, something can be considered scientific if it is testable, verifiable, and material (isn’t imaginary, yes imagination is the result of the material). If you are proposing something that isn’t related to the materiality external from your imagination, then you aren’t being scientific.
