I love that you try to be optimistic here! 😉 i will wait until we have the proof for it but I really fear a lot of the good „Mat-stuff“ wont happen this season. How do you feel about Melindra now bering from Malkier so she can have a Connection to Lan?

That is my believe too, the question is, what Kind of arc will that be, when already so many things were absolutely changed/didn‘t happen as supposed? EG, if Tanchico is also Ebou Dar what of his storyline can happen there when they already leave it this season that does not focus on him?

TBH: I wish you are right with that theory! I just fear Mat will loose more of the moments he could have had on screen… I hope also we will get rid of the Fake-Asharandei this Season… Thats what I disliked the most… besides him now being a Hero of the Horn so he needs not to aquire certain memories

As far as i am informed they had different locations in SA so it is absolutely possible Donal did not film any Aiel Waste Scenes. I believe he was there for the Vision-Scenes of either Moiraine or Rand. But thats just my personal theory of course.
