Lmao NYT wrote an article about Chinese censorship in games - usual bullshit about saying “Tiananmen Square” in chat… Just try and publish a game with anime aesthetics and boobs on any of the Western-controlled game platforms like Valve, Sony etc. The sheer hypocrisy.

Is there like a Wingspan pro league because my family games night is getting crazy competitive with the scores.

Found a place that does unlimited cocktails and Mexican tasting course. This fukken rocks man.

Finally found the time to finish reading Marshland. This is one of the best books I have ever read. Exceptional criticism of the Japanese legal system and also historical novel of the period just after WW2.

Hav u tried… sparkling sake? It’s fun! It’s fizzy!

Plum wine margarita ^_^

The dancesport competition I sponsor has formally announced dates and the showdance performance for the year!

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Ninja Five-O, Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog (pictured), and more! Here's what's arriving on PC and consoles alongside insights from @mainmantis.bsky.social & @mattatddnet.bsky.social www.tech-gaming.com/new-releases...

Wollongong needs more food than places that are open at 2am. Because sometimes people need that.

It's been a pretty wild February for game reviews hey.

I think it's quite important to remember that Elon Musk could become history's first trillionaire, and to a narcissistic sociopath like Elon Musk, that is his greatest fantasy.

Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh nooooooo. BRB going to the bank to discuss a new credit line.

This is pathetic. The Nintendo Gold Points was an exceptional loyalty program.

It's almost like streaming services are a grifting scam and the only reason they were ever "cheap" was because the tech companies took a loss leading approach to build market. Now they've destroyed all other forms of ownership, we're going to be paying more and more for them.

I can’t get this song outta my head and now you can’t either. You’re welcome. music.apple.com/au/album/fly...

I have been playing Civilization for 29 years. The fact that Civilization VII misses the mark for this series by such a wide margin makes it possibly the most disappointing game I've ever played. This should have been my GOTY. It's not even close: www.digitallydownloaded.net/2025/02/revi...

My top 10 locations in Japan: 1) Sekigahara 2) Ōkunoshima (Rabbit Island) 3) Kamakura 4) Gifu City 5) Kusatsu Onsen 6) Karuizawa 7) Hiraizumi 8) Atami 9) Hiroshima 10) Ogasawara Islands

On such a hardcore City Pop kick right now. 80's music is generally awesome, but Japanese 80's music is a special kind of bangin'.

One of my best treasures from my Japan trip is this. Heiankyo Alien. Never heard of this before for whatever reason, but it’s basically a precursor to Pac-Man. Plays brilliantly on my Analogue Pocket <3

Oh yeah. I forgot beer was like 3x as expensive in Australia, and yet I need it 3x more to put up with country around me. Bugger, mate.

Half a day back in Australia and already this country has annoyed me on a half dozen levels lol.

The airport hotel at Haneda in Japan has a Hatsune Miku room. So I’m staying in the Hatsune Miku room.

This is a particularly good coffee chain that has like 900 stores in Japan. Massive sandwiches (little larger than a Subway six-inch) with high quality ingredients for $10, excellent coffee. Roomy, comfy seating spaces. I really enjoyed Komeda’s Coffee.

I hate the day before leaving Japan. Back to Australia tomorrow. :-(
