Gus is getting surgery today. He's recovered very well from the injuries to his leg, but in the last couple of days he's presented with an inguinal hernia (probably a delayed result of the same trauma.) The hernia isn't bothering him, but is a constant danger if left uncorrected, so here we go.

Gus tumbled yesterday, reacting to a livestock truck. He fell at the end of his tether. He has a couple of sutures & some abrasions, but he's going to be fine. Bill witnessed the fall, and now he has that movie playing behind his eyelids every time he closes them. But he took care of Gus.
