Bret Baier just happened to be dressed and in studio when Trump announced that we were bombing Iran.

A bunch of current and former Fox News employees in and out of government hashed it out and decided, the U.S. is going to war. www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/tru...

Trump appears to be careening toward a U.S. military strike on Iran as current and former Fox News figures — from posts on the network’s airwaves, elsewhere in the right-wing media ecosystem, and within his administration — fight to influence his decision. www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/tru...

Fox hosts, parroting DHS, claimed Sen. Padilla "ran at,” "lunged at," and tried to “bum-rush” Kristi Noem. Video disproves their claims, showing Padilla standing calmly across the room asking his question as security grabs him.

Starting to think these guys may not be entirely on the level.

Several Fox figures apparently decided to lie to their audiences on Tuesday about a dispute over when Trump last spoke to Newsom, with each dissembling over what Trump or Newsom said rather than admitting that the president was wrong. www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/fox...

It really seems like Fox News committed itself to a day of lying because John Roberts couldn't tell Donald Trump that the chyron he was complaining about was the network's mistake. www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/fox...

Fox’s LA fantasy is setting the stage for an authoritarian federal response www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/fox...

1. I'm going to thread out the very odd sequence of events that led Fox News anchor John Robert, theoretically a "straight news" guy, to pretend the early hours of June 7 actually happened a day ago in order to avoid pointing out that Donald Trump was wrong about something.

On balance, I think the president of the United States giving full pardons to people who attacked cops while storming the U.S. Capitol because they were his supporters and then firing their prosecutors was a detriment to the effort to stigmatize political violence.

feel like @mattgertz.bsky.social has been all over this, but if you don't watch Fox, it's really been in Other World mode. No bigger story yesterday than KJP's book, for example.

Fox News’ propagandists are responding to the massive hole that President Donald Trump’s tax bill would reportedly blow in the federal deficit with the truly asinine complaint that such estimates don’t include revenues from the president’s tariffs. www.mediamatters.org/tariffs-trad...

Even Fox & Friends can't completely deny that the GOP's “Big, Beautiful Bill” is set to blow up the deficit www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/eve...

If Paramount folds in the face of Trump’s extortion, Shari Redstone may get her big merger payday. But the result will only encourage the president to make more attacks on CBS News and other news outlets. www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/fox...

It would be nice if last night's terrorist murder in my home city were being prosecuted by a sober professional rather than a former Fox host once decried by her producer as a "reckless maniac” and whose commentary is known for Trump sycophancy, bigotry, & demagoguery. www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...

You learn in school that the genius of the founders was creating a system of government with checks and balances and coequal branches but the MAGA folks don't want anyone but the president to be treated as legitimate.

"Cuomo did crimes" doesn't seem wildly implausible but closing a corruption probe into the mayor because he’s playing ball and then opening a probe into his biggest challenger is pretty sketchy.

It’s 10 pm on a Sunday night and Republicans on the Budget Committee are cutting food assistance, health care, and access to education to give billionaires a tax break.

It's bad that the president is a crazy person who will in the middle of the night name a new set of Bad People and demand an investigation into them based on bullshit pretexts. Also bad that his DOJ/FBI appointees were picked because they'd say yes to such demands.
