Oof! Brian hit the nail on the head!

DOGE is like if Fyre Festival was a government agency.

From a FOIA perspective, "the entire federal workforce should write down and email what they did last week" is extremely funny

I’m not opposed to understanding the work of federal employees. They should be working hard for us. But there should be a methodical way of doing this.

DID YOU KNOW: In his inaugural month in office, Trump's administration deported 37,660 individuals, which is notably lower than Biden's monthly average of 57,000 in 2024.

🙄

This was just 233 days ago:

Happy Presidents' Day to the 44 presidents who never tried to become a fascist dictator.

Who is running #NYC government?

True words.

Didn't have agreeing with Sen McConnell twice in a week on my 2025 bingo card.

Have you ever seen the President appear weaker than he does here?

He is all of us.

Trudeau: "There's not a snowball's chance in hell that Canada will ever be the 51st state"

I just want Beyonce tickets.

Trump was partying at the Super Bowl, but still hasn't been to the DC plane crash site.

We have to stop saying that this person or that person in the Trump administration is a DEI hire. This is not true and only perpetuates the myth that it's a practice of hiring unqualified people. That happens regardless.

And paid them for services provided to any organization willing to pay for them (private and public).

In 1821 Thomas Jennings became the first Black American granted a US patent w/a dry-cleaning process called "dry scouring." He used the income from his invention to fund abolitionist causes and to purchase his family members out of slavery. He also fought discrimination in NY public transit system

Oops 😬

I just learned that the contraction of the diaphragm creates negative pressure in the body and makes us draw in new air.

@pbs.org - Thank you for this!

Someone should go check on Drake, tho

Just because. #beyonce

Could not be happier about my friend @malcolmkenyatta.bsky.social being elected as DNC Vice Chair. I’ve known Malcolm for years, and few people are as committed to youth as he is. Incredibly excited to work with him for the next four years.

Can someone ask Trump which stage of “Make America Great Again” this is?

The irony of people doing this fake virtue signaling (after an entire campaign rife with fainting spells over the cost of eggs), is that their political deity is famous for manufacturing his clothing outside the US and for failing to pay American contractors.

STAHL: “You said Trump is nasty, not very smart, a sleazeball…” MCCONNELL: “Those were private comments.” STAHL: “But they’re in your biography.” MCCONNELL: “Yeah.” 😬

Me whenever presidents Trump or Musk open their mouths…

Absolutely brutal scroll on Fox.

PINK PONY CLUB!

The Oversight Committee should be led by @aoc.bsky.social. Full stop.

Democratic members of Congress: If you’re on Twitter, you need to be on BlueSky.

Is anyone in our government concerned that Elon Musk has unfettered access and he doesn't even appear to be a government employee?

NEW: David Hogg has won the vice chair DNC election.

Suddenly they’re fine tightening their belts for Trump, but when it was eggs over .99 a dozen, they drew a line.

Happy Black History Month, and yeah, we're still doing that.
