Been transcribing more of the Made in Abyss soundtrack. This week has been Riko's theme. Which is such a nice combo of cutesy and a little creepy, mixed with Joe Hisaishi sprinkles and some chamber pop I love it haha

Went skiing for the first time today at Mount Rose! Had a blast with Devon during our first lesson, and then we went skiing on our own for about 3 more hours. Super fun and we only live 25 minutes away whoop whoop

MUSIC PRODUCTION TIP: Got a repetitive riff that you'd like to sound sharper, more precise? Try subtly adding in a trance gate! I use Tremolator for this, low Depth + slight rush to the Feel to preserve acoustic instruments' attacks. Sounds more synthetic, but sometimes that's the goal for motors!
