I was super busy at the 4th World Congress for Environmental History #wceh2024 yesterday so I didn’t post anything. But it was great! Started off in a session about failure (in academia/life/whatever)- which was good to discuss, especially with the early career colleagues.

Some (very faint) aurora to start off an exciting week at #WCEH2024 - lots of great contributions from @greenhouseuis.bsky.social, including 2 panels on human-animal histories & technology on Monday!

Looking forward to our exciting panel coming up on Friday at #wceh2024 'What Ever Happened to Wildlife: Histories of Human-Animal Transformations in the #Anthropocene' I am convening together with @georgeiorda.bsky.social We'll have lyrebirds, ibises and lots of mammals 🦫🐴🐻🐳🐗🐇🐘 #envhist #envhum
