Oh my god, I just saw some of the video from Zelensky’s White House visit. They’re lucky he didn’t put them both in a chokehold and set the place on fire. Those useless monsters are spitting on all Ukraine has suffered. Horrific inhuman behavior from Vance and Trump.

I saw new blades of grass coming up from the dirt today and stared at how green and audacious they seemed. I cannot wait for this winter to be over.

Wow, I’m so tickled that my 100-word story about a very serious tractor (yep, a 🚜) got picked up by Friday Flash Fiction! ✨ #flashfiction www.fridayflashfiction.com/100-word-sto...

As the President continues to fire tens of thousands of Federal employees, really curious to see how he’s going to spin his jobless and unemployment numbers for the first quarter.

That moment when it’s been 48 hours since you submitted to Threepenny Review and no rejection has arrived and you start to wonder oh wow what if

Hamas released the bodies of four hostages Thursday, including what it said was the remains of a mother and her two young children, members of the Bibas family, whose story came to symbolize the brutality of the Oct. 7, 2023 attacks.

Let’s fuck em up, people

Shoutout to everyone everywhere still somehow finding the energy to create, edit, publish, and put forth art in this world in this moment. It’s no joke how hard things are right now and your work is absolutely vital.

If you’ve never read any of the work Rob has done as part of his Coherence project I highly recommend it. It’s incredibly ambitious, warm, funny, erudite, and the writing is gorgeous.

Very happy with my new mug

At the rally at Stonewall to protest the erasure of Trans people - the rage and resolve here should be bottled and administered directly into our veins.

There are a lot of Nazis in the news these days but I wanted to make sure to stop for a second and say a very special fuck you to Kanye, because fuck that fucking Nazi, he deserves to get punched, de-platformed, and de-monetized like every last one of them

My deeply unpopular opinion rn is that we’re going to have to talk to and perhaps forgive a lot of people we absolutely don’t want to talk to and definitely not forgive in order to save ourselves and our kids from several generations of bitter acrimony, and quite possibly, violence in this country.

Even at this point, only 27% of Eagles fans will let you say it’s in the bag, the rest will say stfu don’t jinx it

I 100% believe we need art joy creativity love and solidarity right now. Even if it feels unimportant to want to finds ways to get your work out into a world where so much feels like it’s in a state of collapse. We need your work. We need you.

Stay strong, everyone. Every ounce of love and protest and creativity matters.

It’s so easy to say it and they refused to just say that “it’s deeply tragic that so many people died in the crash, our condolences to all the families affected, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure this never happens again.” That’s the basic script for any leader in this situation.

Seems like there’s a new wave of folks arriving, this time fleeing FB/Insta/Threads. Hi everyone! Here are some places you mind find former mutuals and/or new folks to follow: A bunch of #FlashFiction writers go.bsky.app/GHFjv7

I had a tough year placing new work, but it feels weird to say that because I also had a story appear in an anthology I love. It was my one publication this year, “Ghost Story,” in Best Microfiction 2024, originally published by Milk Candy Review. milkcandyreview.home.blog/2023/10/19/g...
