Chuck Schumer, it’s time to shut it down. Whatever imaginary red line you had, it was crossed when they indicted a Congressperson. It was crossed when they deployed marines to Los Angeles. It was crossed when they handcuffed a Senator. It’s time to shut it the fuck down.

More Americans voted for Senator Alex Padilla than for 48 of the 53 red state GOP U.S. Senators combined.

just so it’s clear why spokane is protesting and what triggered this in the first place, so it won’t get lost www.krem.com/article/news...

This is incredible

This could be my middle school classroom some days.

Democrats should run on this.

It’s looking like Saturday’s No Kings mobilizations are going to be even bigger than Hands Off! We need to show up by the millions to demonstrate that Trump’s tyrannic crackdown is only deepening our resolve. Find a peaceful protest near you for No Kings Day: www.nokings.org?SQF_SOURCE=i...

We’ve leapt over a lot of red lines in the last week. But one I find most worrying is Trump/MAGA/ICE have ceased even pretending to claim some criminal pretext for cracking down on protected speech. It’s just straight up “if you criticize us, you’re getting throttled/arrested/disappeared.”

The disparity btwn what’s actually happening in Los Angeles and the way it’s being mischaracterized is one of the biggest stress tests of modern media in recent memory. Botted socials, AI, old clips, declining literacy—it’s like seeing a broken emergency response system hit by a storm.

You down with IPP?

No fun when the ump show hurts my team.

Cal the king of stolen strikes

If Cal and Canzone hit a homer in the same game its called a CalZone

Eventually an ambitious politician somewhere is gonna proclaim this truth and run with it (pun intended): Every bit of greatness ascribed to America came from immigration. Immigrants are our past, our present, and our best hope for a propserous and peaceful future. Immigrants rule.

ICE was created post 9/11 to combat terrorist threats. If they aren't combatting the number one terror threat to America - Domestic Violent Extremism and white supremacists - then they don't need to exist as an agency.

This is just taking attendance in class every day.

You heard the man. Arrest the ICE officers.

ICE causing fires from their own tear gas and flash grenades, don’t get it twisted. They’re the ones causing damages to cities.

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

Her name is Rosie: "A lot of vendors are undocumented and can't be here today. So those of us who can, we gotta show up"

Immigrants are extremely good and cool. I want more immigrants in this country for a whole shitload of reasons. They contribute to culture. They contribute to the economy. I've always liked having them as neighbors. Someone please invent a pro-immigration politician so I can vote for them.
