Next up, I tried No Man’s Sky for a bit after upgrading to the Switch 2 Edition. Not sure it feels like 60fps when on the surface of a planet, but generally it seems to play well. Really appreciate the new cross-save feature as I didn’t want to restart this game for the 50th time.

Mario Kart World is a LOT of fun on Switch 2. Played this for a few hours with @fleberdee.com I may have got beaten a few times 🤦🏼‍♂️ On another note, the screenshot/video sharing feature works really well.

Still setting up the Switch 2, but first impressions: - this thing feels way bigger than the original - the screen is so nice - the jump to 1080p is really noticeable. - the magnetic joycons are great. No wobble when attached. - the eshop is much, much faster now.

I really hope when iPadOS 26 or whatever it’s called gets announced they let us have a normal friggin’ mouse cursor. Trying to adjust the width of a column in a table with a cursor the size of a dinner plate is not fun.

I'm still trying out Android on a second phone to see if I'm ready to make the switch from iPhone. One thing I discovered yesterday was custom launchers. I can get a simple homescreen and swipe down for an alphabetical list of apps. Better than the minimalist launcher widgets on iPhone tbh.
