I’ve stopped shopping with Amazon, but came across this and had to snap it up. 16GB ram, 512gb M.2 SSD. I actually got it for £79, but it’s gone up by £10 since. Still a great price. Installed Zorin OS on it and am using this as a work machine.

The new Nothing phone looks great. Unbelievable price. Would love to try one. Didn’t know Nothing was a British company until a week ago. I love how the software looks, and that Eesential Key/Space function looks really interesting. If I didn’t upgrade my iPhone last year, I’d probably switch.

Mind a bit blown this morning. Set up #Plex on my #Linux server, didn’t know that remote streaming was even possible. Tried it out in the car and it works brilliantly. Streams FLAC files without waiting, buffering, or freezing… it just works perfectly. Wow. This changes everything.

Just signed up to the Pro version of Mistral #AI Le Chat with a student discount for £3.94 a month instead of £19.99 that I was paying for ChatGPT. Le Chat has a bit of catching up to do in some aspects, but it’s worked great for me so far and is SO FAST.

Excuse the mess, I’m in testing mode until this computer finds a new place to live. So I’ve bought a Beelink Mini PC, installed #Linux #Ubuntu, and got Plex Media Server up and running. Gonna install an additional 2.5” 2TB SSD in this tomorrow. Linux is fun!
