I think I've found a workable workflow for writing lecture slides (we have to produce PowerPoint slide, which I hate) 1. Write them in MarkDown using Marp's VS Code plugin 2. Export to PDF 3. Export (under duress) to pptx, it even does editable versions that are only some kB in size. 🤞🏻

in another note: microsoft in word are changing their subscriptions to have included AI in it as standard. you can go into setting and billing and change your subscription to non AI assisted. it actually saves you money.
