I think it is time for a generational and stylistic change in Dems leadership including in the Senate. Schumer has been a solid leader for his time. But times have changed. I would love to see Chris Murphy as leader. Thoughts?

I think it is time for new leadership in the Dem party. BAU no longer applies. It’s no longer effective. I would strongly support a change in senate leadership to match the House with HJ. I think we need Chris Murphy as the new Dem Senate leader. And an outsider as our next Prez candidate.

Vance is completely wrong here. US military sales to Ukraine served as a catalyst to rebuild our production capacity for our own potential military needs. I bet you'll never hear him say the same thing about US missiles fired to defend Israel, though that did deplete short-term stocks.

One of the things I learned early in life is that you “punish in private and praise in public”. What Trump did today was not in anyone’s best interest. He tried to humiliate an elected world leader in front of the cameras to please his base and to look tough. He embarrassed himself and America! 😱

I am an American who spent most of my adult life outside of the US. I have seen my country through the eyes of others. The love and appreciation for our education system, entertainment, etc. But also the intolerance and the social and economic Darwinism. The winner take all culture is exhausting.

I wish the media would stop referring to the admin’s actions as “plans” (e.g. Gaza, USAID). A plan has a “how” and a strategic plan also has a “why”. Trump only has a “what” which is only an idea and not a plan. And most of his “what’s” need to be followed by a TF!🫣

I think that all legitimate journalists should leave TwitterX immediately. Not because it’s a cesspool but because it is owned by a destructive member of this administration. I have to believe that even the best journalist might temper their remarks on that platform so as not to be kicked off.
