I've been thinking a lot about the state of Infinity Nikki these past couple of days and I don't think the game has juice any more. Not because of the botched Sea of Stars area or the 11 piece gacha costumes or the $15 bath tub accessory. It's a much deeper problem. Infold can't keep up.

State of Play tomorrow to open up a whole bunch of Summer gaming showcases happening this week. Have a feeling that FF9 Remake would probably debut at a State of Play. There are rumors right now that we are getting Final Fantasy Tactics Remastered at this one, but I'm keeping the faith for FF9!

I can't believe the Switch 2 is finally launching. Since I'm not getting one until it's library grows a bit, I'm actually more excited for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. Fantasy Life i was pretty good, but it didn't really satisfy the itch for a life sim/RPG hybrid

I just realized, the specs on this new computer are high enough that I can run Baldur's Gate 3 on it without falling into single digit frame rate. There is probably a lot of games I can run now that I couldn't on my old machine. Hey, I can run FF7 Rebirth too.

I'm on the Omen laptop now. Still trying to make sure all my files ported over correctly. I had so much outdated junk on my external drive, I'm having to go through it file by file to clear off the junk I don't need. Screen is slightly larger but not as crisp and bright as the old Dell.

Volontes is back on Kickstarter, this time running a campaign for an English localization. I didn't back it the first time because I've been burned on video game crowdfunders, but since the game is already made and out in Japan, I threw my bones to the devs. The art for this otome is sumptious.
