Yeah mutants are tough, but I find it reasonable. I am still early in the game and sometimes just avoid them.
But the game is great, the atmosphere is so dense, it's tough for me not to love it.

I bounced from the first one as it was really complex to get into. I played a bit of a PoE2, it feels way more accessible, I even consider picking up the early access if I get hot headed

Yeah, 2nd is by far the best one. I gaslit myself 4th is gonna be good, considering PoE is strong, and PoE2 is on the way.
