For me, tonight is one of those nights you vibe to Pink Floyd’s The Wall and Animal. These albums are nearly 50 years old, but are as relevant than ever before. The dangers of isolation, the allure of authoritarianism, and the uncertainty that comes with personal and societal disillusionment.

Pelosi needs to go. She should pass the torch to the next Generation- a boomer if you can believe that’s the next generation. (It is) Rahm Emmanuel is a HORRID choice to lead the DNC. Dems need a fresh reset to work with working class people to bring them back in the fold. These two aren’t that.

Interesting thought on Smerconish this morning: Trump does 3-card Monty & Gaetz is a sacrificial lamb to get the other nominees through. Gaetz doesn’t have to answer for his investigation & he will land a payday in the conservative news media. So, if true, who would Trump put up after Gaetz?

It’s interesting to me that Rs and Elmo are threatening to primary Rs that don’t go along with nominations. Do it At some point people need to stand up & call their bluff. It’s a pretty bold assumption that they may get their fringe through the primary but the other side is in regrouping mode.
