A question for @mcuban.bsky.social US CEOs, seeing that the rule of law (their contracts) mean nothing in this environment. A contract with the federal government, like the TikTok farmer. Or a contract w/ Musk or another favored $B. Or just standard contracts.

Now that the US Treasury has been compromised, it seems Governors have a legitimate case not to forward any payments to the federal government until Treasury is re-secured. Put the money in escrow accounts to be paid upon that occurance. Starve the beast.

My mentions are filled with people insisting Senate Democrats are powerless. They’re not. They can throw up roadblocks by denying unanimous consent, forcing quorum calls, using holds and filibusters, etc It’s so easy to figure out even a dimwit like Tuberville managed to pull it off.
