So we had a lot of snow last night. The temperatures were in the 20's. I want out and shoveled snow and cleared the roof. Went inside and it was 40f. I confess I had a heater running but I am happy to save my plants.

I'm truly not a conspiracy theory person. I do believe that the rich will use food as the ultimate weapon. Maybe as a last resort or as a first strike. Be ready.

If you are a Farmer or know a Farmer please tell them to read the Agricultural section of project 2025..They are going to put you out of buisness and Big Agricultural Corporations are going to buy your farms for next to nothing..it's not about blue or red but protecting our American Farmers

Who says you can't grow citrus trees in Virginia? Not I.

Spring is in the air! Started my eggplants, tomato varieties, and pepper varieties. Folks- please take my advice. Start a garden. It will help you mentally and save you if the SHTF.

So despite the recent 16 degree f. Weather we had in Virginia - these Pak Choi, green onions, and parsley made it. I will make a "Woke" stir fry or ramen soup with them.

Bluesky is mostly political. I'm doing my best to make it abundantly clear that we all need to prepare just in case. A container garden is the way to go. Please take my advise and start now. Seeds at $tree are just $.31 a pack. Tomatoes (especially Roma) are easy to grow. Beans grow easily too.

Regrowing Celery You can do this on a window sill without a garden. Simply place the heel of a celery stalk in water (I pull some of the outside off).

Although I am a simple backyard gardener - I read that I'm actually by law allowed to own 3 chickens. With the price of eggs - should I give a cluck?
