American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

@schumer.senate.gov When you are getting praise from TFG, you are on the wrong track. Do not cave on the cloture vote! Do not comply in advance. Anything else is pure cowardice. If you are scared, then retire. Either stand up for us or get the hell out of the way.
