Country loaf with a hint of rye.

Made a rustic boule today. Pretty happy with the rise and crumb!

Chicken barbecue pizza tonight. Challah bread was from the night before.

Pizza Tuesday. Focaccia pizza:

Pizza Wednesday

Pizza Thursday. Other plans interfered yesterday. The prosciutto and onion was a great option.

I found a Danny McBride tribute while roaming Florence.

In Florence, but my wife takes the good pics.

Headed to Italy tomorrow for our wedding anniversary trip. Rome - Florence - Venice.

The irony of a car with a “drive it like you stole it” decal not knowing how to drive through a roundabout.

Boiler up!

Pizza night! Getting better with all homemade ingredients.

Just finished “Armageddon” by Craig Alanson. Fun series overall, listening to it on audiobooks. Anyone else reading 8 other books at the same time and about to start another?

I like twitter still to follow college basketball, but I had to create a new account, unfollow a certain owner, and I really only see college basketball content from those I follow. A little surprised it’s not worse, but I also make sure I don’t click on anything that may show up outside that space.

Headed to Italy for the first time in two weeks with the better half. Rome, Florence, and maybe Venice. Besides the obvious stuff, anything that should be checked out?

Trying to balance out all the cat pics that are posted.

Just finished “Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore” by Robin Sloan. Really enjoyed it and had grabbed it after just completing “Sourdough” by the same author.

Just rewatched Goldfinger and realized I’m now at a point in life where this outfit would be awesomely comfortable.

Great to see all the new users, but the Discover timeline is already starting to look like twitter.

Just finished “Sourdough” by Robin Sloan. Quick, fun read with the 2nd half a bit stranger than the first!

Trying my hand at baking bread. This one came out pretty well for a first try.
