If only somebody was in a position of power and trust and could try to do something about this.

Bremmer calls the US "…by far the most dysfunctional, and kleptocratic, and unfree political system of the advanced industrial democracies…" "…squarely back to the 1930s…" www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXET...

This is so tone deaf in so many ways it would be comical if the subject wasn't dead serious. It's not business as usual until the MAGA fascists have no power in and over California, @governor.ca.gov.

What functions does Trump actually want to keep in the federal government, apart from the military and the gestapo?

From the Declaration of Independence: "He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries."

Ask yourself: Could they put you on the dead list if they didn't like you? If they did, what could do to "undead" yourself? If somehow successful, how would you recover after being financially "dead" for months? Remember how people got on the no-fly list and couldn't get off? Fun times ahead…

At what point does the rest of the world just decide they hate Trump, & the USA, with a white hot intensity that they just want to fuck us over, over and over again? That they don't want a good deal, they want vengeance for Trump trashing the world economy? To resort to sanctions, not mere tariffs?

Now there's a protest sign you don't see often.

Interesting differences in reporting on total crowd sizes yesterday in various papers. NY Times: Paragraph 4, "crowd sizes are difficult to estimate", "more than 600,000 people had signed up to participate", and "On Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, the protest stretched for nearly 20 blocks" 1/

This is wrong in so many different ways that she may have broken Trump's record.

Schimel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated! (Yes, I know, but it wouldn't be a joke otherwise)

Canadians are being told to only bring burner phones if traveling to the USA. What have we become? www.cbc.ca/player/play/...

Florida is where Democrat's dreams go to die.

Gen X Josh calling Boomer COBOL "archaic" is just about the most Gen X thing he could do...

I see this video going around. The analysis is flawed, unfortunately. For example, she says that it's impossible for people to use em-dashes and that there's not even a key for it. But, if you type two hyphens (--) on the iPhone, it is turned into an em-dash. Easy peasy. 1/

When the next round of Nuremberg trials opens up, these will be confessions of guilt.

"If we had to justify why we sent innocent people to a concentration camp it would interfere with our ability to send innocent people to a concentration camp."

The Trump administration finally included someone knowledgeable, experienced, and reputable in its decision making process and everybody gets all mad about it.

I like the idea of accidentally including at least one magazine editor in every top secret group chat, personally. I'm looking forward to the editor of "Reader's Digest" reminding them that every memo needs to have at least one joke at the end of it.
