The writer is a bit too harsh on Ameku imo but she has a good point about how cases are being wrapped up quickly and they can't seem to get the pacing right. A one-ep mystery that needed 2 episodes following a 3-ep mystery that should have *stayed* as 2 episodes.

These bans are also very easy to enact as many just require one person to "challenge" the book -- creating effectively a cottage industry of Karens working to find any book they don't like and get it yanked. Even without reading it themselves.
