Happy Twin Peaks day, to those who celebrate. I’ve begun a rewatch of The Return in honour—of the date, and of the unfortunate loss of the brilliant Lynch.

To my darling valentine: here's to many more adventures together. I love you with all of my heart and soul. 😍😘❤️❤️

Made me laugh.

The more I think of this, the more it haunts me. And it's hard to disagree. Time to stop complaining and start fighting, good people.

Good morning! Genuine question: anyone seeing this? I seem to only see a select few people on my thread and was just curious. Give this a like if you do. Much thanks. 😀

Just because I’m a Shakespeare nerd.

This one really hurts.

Didn’t have this book in science class.

Final day of the Christmas holiday. Guess that gives me one final day to catch up on all the films and TV and all the house cleaning I meant to do over the last two weeks.

Sod the naysayers—I absolutely adored Wicked (part one). Bring on Wicked: For Good (in fact, maybe bring it forward to the summer).

Ten years ago today, Chris and I had a 'what the hell' moment and decided to look at show homes. Just to look. We found a place we liked, and that began a two-and-a-half year journey of looking at new houses and areas. And the house we ended up buying...?

Punctuation matters.

Well, 2024…you were a hell of a ride. Roll on 2025. May it be productive and happy. It’s probably going to be an interesting one to say the least.

You know, I loved the one-two-three punch of Doctor Who, Wallace & Gromit and Gavin & Stacey. Three of my favourite things this year. Particularly G&S—they really stuck the landing.

Made me laugh.

Some good picks for this year, though: a) I had assumed some of these were already on the list and b) there are interesting picks the Variety feature doesn’t mention. variety.com/2024/film/ne...

Always happy sharing Shakespeare goodness.

Always interesting screening a production to different groups. Showed She Loves Me to two classes--one hated it, the other loved it. Same show, completely different reviews. And we haven't had the 'Zachary Levi' talk yet--that will be fun! 😂

Repeat after me: The Golden Globes do not matter. The Golden Globes are just a PR stunt. The Golden Globes are not a trusted barometer for other awards consideration. Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.

I always find the end of a production bittersweet. The holy quiet of a dark theatre always humbles me—walking on an empty stage where a story had been performed only a few moments ago never ceases to haunt me. RIP This Restless House.

The cast in character for our production of This Restless House at Assembly Roxy. Part Two tonight at 7, or join us at noon tomorrow (December 7th) when we do the entire production.

December 1st. Christmas songs downloaded onto the phone. Now just need to figure out when I'm going on the rides at the Glasgow and Edinburgh markets.

Next week, our BA Acting students will present Zinnie Harris' This Restless House at Assembly Roxy. Join us at 7pm for part one on December 3 or 5 and part two on December 4 or 6--or starting at noon on December 7, be there when we do the whole production.
