Well this is… horrifying and expected www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Direct quote from my kindergartner today: “Mommy, I think the guy who makes the weird pointy cars, and our shitty President, they’re working together” (Yes we let her cuss, don’t @ me) #fromthemouthsofbabes #presidentmusk #shittypresident

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

When you have a choice to act, you act. I promise: your community will have your back.

Impeccable then, impeccable now. ✨

Good morning friends. Rest and recharge. Get outside and walk the unretractable earth 🌱

I’m job hunting right now, and it’s scary to see how many companies (all that I’ve seen) have scrubbed any gender but male or female from their forms. It really didn’t take long for companies to turn on the trans community. Wonder what sort of performances they’ll put on for pride month.

A lot of this content is getting scrubbed from US search engines so… just doing my civic duty to make sure it gets seen www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021...

🚨BREAKING: Federal Court GRANTS sweeping nationwide injunction against Trump DEI executive orders finding that they violate First and Fifth Amendments to the Constitution. A huge victory for @democracyforward.org and its clients. A stinging loss for Trump. Visit www.democracydocket.com for details.

This administration is moving at super human speed… it’s like they have fire in their veins or something. I’m just baffled trying to think of how a human could do so much work around the clock, just go go go with rapid fire work and ideas, barely pausing to take a breath. ❄️

Most people probably aren’t tracking this but Senate Republicans just started an all-night voting marathon that will allow them to gut Medicaid and increase child hunger while giving handouts to billionaires like Elon Musk.

Where are they? In a crisis, they have ceded the public stage to Musk and Trump. It is shameful.

About to make a “wt actual f is going on” playlist, and this will be the first song. It’s not new, but weirdly captures the insanity of the country right now. What would be on your playlist? youtu.be/McuHVXgR8dA?...

#TransDayofVisibility is March 31, and this year it feels really freaking important to be visible. #Trans and #nonbinary people, how do we want to show that we are here, visible, proud, and will thrive no matter what any executive order says? #tdov #enby #transgender

More of this please. 🙏🏻

Step 3 in divesting from consumer culture: raise your own food. As grocery chains build monopolies, reduce dependence on them (and eat healthier/fresher food) by growing your own. Look to sites like www.ufseeds.com/planting-sch... to learn when and how to plant. Your local nursery will can help too!

Step 2 in divesting from consumer culture: shop used whenever possible. I LOVE poshmark for this. It goes beyond clothes: I can often find speciality shampoo and self care items there for less than I would spend. And yes, there’s an app too #shopused #killcapitalism Www.poshmark.com

Elected Democrats should pepper every single comment, remark, and speech with mentions of “President Musk” - and with nary a mention of Mango Magoo. Musk would be Mar-a-long-gone within a week.

Step 1 in divesting from consumer culture: become a member of your local Buy Nothing group. Now there is an app for this! There are other options like “offer up”, but I’m a big fan of the community building focus of Buy Nothing. #anticonsumer #community #buynothing apps.apple.com/us/app/buyno...

For accountability: I’m posting here that for 2025 I will only buy used options whenever possible for non consumable goods, and seek this for consumables where appropriate (ie: an opened but unused bottle of shampoo, etc). Who wants to join? #boycott

I think Americans, blessed with relatively stable government for a long time, assume there is someone, some adult, who will step in and make things right before the President does anything REALLY bad. There’s not.

The Black Panther Party were trailblazers in public health. The Free Breakfast Program fed more kids than the State of California. Black History is American History.

January 2025 was the longest year of my life… anybody else? I love this article’s approach to combating the hopelessness and chaos of the news cycle without just plugging my ears and going “lalalaaa” www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/fl...

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a declassified World War II-era CIA guide to sabotaging fascism in the workplace has become one of the most popular free ebooks on the internet: www.404media.co/declassified...

It’s annual Andi day!!! @andimac.bsky.social

Putting this up here feels… weird, but maybe I’ll get used to it? And/or maybe I can just keep these to myself 😆 #poledance

“… And in every case we worked on, when the agents realized they were being watched, they abandoned their stakeout.”

Let’s start a pool. How long until one of the 1,500 Jan. 6th defendants pardoned by Trump gets arrested for committing another crime? I say three days. By Saturday. I woulda said two days but I built in a little travel time.

Honestly, I feel like there are more people with this account on Bsky at almost 20k followers than when I had 79k on X. People are talking here. The impact of an algo is insane.
