The recently published "trust barometer" that's held each year made me somewhat proud of my fellow countrymen. On the bottom of the list of media companies are Facebook (5%), X (4%) and TikTok (2%). Where as on the bottom of opinion makers are Joe Rogan (9%) and Elon Musk (5%). #Politics #Sweden

Several artists who I've supported on Patreon are starting to run polls and leaning towards using "AI" in their work. I won't stand for it or support any "artist" who uses it, LLMs are immoral, damaging and theft. Frankly - an artist of any stripe should know better. 😐 #AI #Furry #Artists

Damn it... Leif "Loket" Olsson died. He was a pretty big part of my childhood, always watched BingLotto with my grandparents when we visited them. For you international folks, he was kinda like Sweden's answer to Bob Barker... but even more likable and down to Earth. RIP Loket, you legend. ❤️🚆

I'm re-watching The Expanse again, truly a great show... at least until Marco Inaros shows up. I'm sorry... but whoever played him did a really bad job. Went way too over-the-top, comically so. 👀 Unlike Thomas Jane, who was brilliant as Det. Miller. It's an absolute joy to see him do his thing. ❤️

The US seems more and more to be turning into East Germany, Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union. Incentivising folks to report their co-workers if they don't follow the party (or the Great Leader's) policies. Soon they'll push for people to report neighbours and friends. Happy to be Swedish. 👀💦

Pictured is the Stockholm Telephone Tower, it connected ~5500 telephone lines. Ordered and built in 1887, a mere 11 yrs(!) after Bell's patent, if you can believe it. It remained in service until 1913, by which point underground wires had made it entirely obsolete. Still neat doe. 🧐 #History

Been silent for a bit, been ravaged by severe depression... tends to happen when I've spent time with family/friends for extended periods. Best guess is that it's connected to my chronic loneliness and isolation... imagine COVID lockdown for 10 years and you'll have some idea. Hope it passes soon.
