Rep Raskin has been great. Rep Ocasio-Cortez has been great. And Rep Frost and Rep Crockett. Senator Murphy. Maybe no one knew exactly what to do. But such people laid down a clear marker. Let’s respect these and other elected federal representatives who stood out these first few weeks.

We spent a good bit right after the election, using those black Friday sales to set up our new home after living in a motorhome. (We had not one stick of furniture) Since then we only buy essentials new. Everything else is from the thrift store. Folks are opting out and saving their pennies.

That Nike commercial with Whole Lotta Love? Y'all. That's a knocking boots song and nothing else. I do not understand what they were thinking with that choice. We keep that song on our special date night playlist IYKWIM. There are very few products that should use that song in advertising..
