Flashback Flash Fiction Wednesday! A quick, 2 minute read from 2023!

Do you like comedy? 👍 Do you like necromancy? 👍 Do you like reading? 👍 If you answered yes to all the above, have we got a treat for you!!! Please go check out my labour of love at the link below. Thanks again to @publishedbyjake.bsky.social for taking a chance on this beaut. 🧟‍♂️ ❤️

I'm going to be a @frazzledlit.bsky.social poet 🥓 ❤️ Super excited to announce I made the cut and will have a poem coming out in their second issue! I think it's going to be incredible 😲 Thanks Frazzled Team for believing in my work!!

Delighted to be in this edition of Funicular Magazine. Thank you @funfunfunicular.bsky.social for believing in my work. I adore the cover!

Delighted to have made the first cut. Thank you @frazzledlit.bsky.social for considering my work.

Rather excited to announce that @publishedbyjake.bsky.social has picked up my labour of love - the tale: 'A Case for Necromancy in the Quest for Peace'. To know their editor laughed out loud while reading (in a good way) warms my heart on this dreary Monday morning in South Yorkshire ❤️ 📖

And another lovely set of poems released by bluedaisiesjournal.wixsite.com/bluedaisiesjou… - there was a really neon, futuristic vibe to this submission call and I think it's a fantastic issue, so go check it out!!

My work is out in the amazing @streetcakemag.bsky.social Please do go and take a look, this issue is a corker!

Miss Tabitha, just being awesome :)

And here's no.3! The wonderful @streetcakemag.bsky.social have picked up a curious oddity of mine for their next issue. I love a bit of experimental literature, and this is one of the best places for it. January is being very kind so far!

Another acceptance this month from @themetaworker.bsky.social Looking forward to sharing this with you all!

I have had my first acceptance of 2025! A personal piece about my father who grew up in Singapore, taken on by the wonderful @funfunfunicular.bsky.social - I cannot wait to have a copy, this really means a lot to me :)

Stone Circle #ThrowbackThursday poem : "I’m not sure this is the correct way to learn how to swim but" by Zoe Davis (@meanerharker.bsky.social) #Tbt stonecirclereview.com/im-not-sure-...

I have three poems out in the beautiful Suburban Witchcraft Magazine. Please do go check out this lovely issue, jam packed with gorgeous poetry, prose and art 😍

Super excited to once again be gracing the pages of @midlvlmag.bsky.social - this time with a short story about the undead and fried dough products. I will always have a soft spot for the first ever lit mag to take on my work. It began right here two years ago, and still going strong 💪 ❤️

Huge thanks to @thecandidrvw for featuring my work in their latest issue, which looks absolutely stunning. I did say I'd share 'A Lich Goes to Walmart' when it came out, so please do check out the link below. Hugs to you all 🤗 thecandidreview.org/a-lich-goes-...

I've been quiet again, but that means work is happening behind the scenes. I can officially say I'm querying again - almost exactly two years since my last attempt when I realised 300k was a tad ambitious for a first novel 😅 I have learnt so much since then, so fingers crossed!

Woke up to a lovely acceptance from @MoonflakePress for their 'Visitors' issue. Thank you for offering my piece 'At midnight' a home!

Some absolutely mahoosive squirrels out this morning! Really like this picture though, as the light was falling so prettily through the trees 🌳 ✨️

I have had a poem accepted that I'm super excited about. It's called 'A Lich Goes to Walmart' and is a modern parody of Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti. Hopefully, I'll be sharing it soon. Thanks to The Candid Review for picking this one up!

Today is a day for stew and dumplings. Nothing beats being nice and warm in the kitchen on a wet and windy day.

Delighted to have my print copy of @LastLeavesMag Issue 9. Just a short poem from me, but I quite like it. Inspired by this guy in my back garden.

Why is writing the bad guy's dialogue always more fun? I don't think a story is complete without it's suavely dashing- or comically hapless- antagonist. Here are a few of my favorite childhood cartoon baddies for you to enjoy. Do you recognise them all? #baddies

Lovely to have work in Rough Diamond Press' first print anthology. I've already ordered mine (available on Amazon)! Can't wait to read all the other amazing poems!

Hi, I'm Zoe. I love to write, draw and chat to people about pretty much everything. I'll be posting my art, literary highs and lows, and general shenanigans here. Feel free to say hello 👋
