Do alter boys exist in Protestant churches? Watching #whitelotus and confused that Mike white would mention alter boys in association with a rich southern family. There's no way they're Catholic.

I'm into this belief that we xennials are somehow the torchbearers of wisdom to technology bereft gen xers and life bereft millennials and gen zers. Then I remember no one knows what a xennial is.

I'm probably late to this, but A Fever in the Heartland by Timothy Egan is fascinating. It's oddly comforting to know that fascist bigots held real power in the 1920s, but fell apart due to their overall grossness and the bravery of some good people. An overall riveting read.
