If you survived the apocalypse, what do you think you would miss the most?

If you like zombies, ordinary people in exceptional circumstances, holidays gone wrong and a pinch of dark humour then I have a book to sell you - literally! books2read.com/u/mdwDNE

Woke up in the early hours with a line that I thought would go well in my WIP. Sometimes stories are written line by line in the dark hours of the morning & that’s ok. Sometimes words wake you one at a time and don’t flow the way you want. But it’s working, the words are coming, slowly but surely.

I know Vodafone and Apple that you really want to sell your new IPhone 16 but as the advert is after EVERY song on Spotify if I ever see one I’m going to drop kick it into the sea. Just so you know.

Not me hurting my own feelings by writing a scene of a ghost being reunited with his wife 🫠

Anyone know of any indie horror presses currently or about to be open for novella submissions?

Do I have far too many books? Yes. Did I stop into the charity shop on my walk today and get excited by 25p books? Also yes!

Hadn’t been feeling well but dragged myself out to the park with the dog and thought how striking this tree looked against the mottled sky. Almost like a cell under a microscope.

Thank you library, that is exactly the vibe I was looking for.

What’s one of your favourite reviews for a book of yours? This is one of mine. books2read.com/u/mdwDNE

Love C.J Tudor’s work!

This is my very favourite review of my book The Last Night In Amsterdam. Matthew does a fantastic deep dive into the story and its themes. Really recommend hecking out this review and his others. matthewfryer.com/tag/the-last...

I’m going to have a crack at the BBC Writers room open submission call. Has anyone here got through to the next round and can offer any insights?

The fella and I had a day off today. Where did we spend it? Perusing the library! Came back with a load of excellent looking horror that’s been in my TBR for ages. Support your local libraries!

My little book is a year old! If you’d like to read a darkly comic horror story about disastrous mini breaks in Amsterdam maybe consider giving this one a read! books2read.com/u/mdwDNE

Autumn woods walk.

The local cinema is showing American Werewolf in London in 4K and lemme tell you I couldn’t have booked those tickets quicker!

If you’re looking for a book about someone having the worst mini break (the first day of the zombie apocalypse) in Amsterdam then I have the book for you! books2read.com/u/mdwDNE

Think I've almost found every one I was following before in the bad place.
