I counted how many people have visited my mom in hospice in the past week and half. I didn't count duplicates. 77! And 80% of that is family. And I still have several cousins and uncles that haven't made it down yet.

My grandma is 90. She is 1 of 9. 7 of the 9 are still living. 3 of the 7 are in their 90s. 3 in their 80s. 1 in their 70s. They still bicker like they are kids. They have had the same fights since the 1940s. It's truly an amazing sight.

My mom just got put in hospice. My heart hurts. I knew it was going to happen, but it still not easy. I talked to my boss and he told me to not worry about how I mark time off and I can do WFH as much as I need. I wish everyone had this option and a work place like this.
