Fab do last night, for BBC Radio Drama director extraordinaire, Gary Brown's retirement. Happy and sad in equal measure. Lovely to see so many peeps, tech and actors, I've worked with over the years. 'Course, the BBC have DECIMATED their drama output, so I think those days are sadly gone. 😟

What’s happened to Radio 4? It’s been non stop misery (apart from a lass singing on Woman’s Hour) since I started listening 4 hours ago. What happened to Book of the Week? Short Story? All the plays, comedies, serials? Radio 4 used to be about entertainment. Now it’s an extension of 24 hr tv news….
