Bold Moves was OUTSTANDING. A second chance romance with a complicated history and big secrets and a MMC who is furious with the FMC and then, has to wonder if maybe he’s the asshole after all. Whew. So good.

This one was really hard but I went with Rye Lane. Even if you don’t vote for it, you should still watch it. #RomComBracket

Fire Island is the only correct choice #RomComBracket

Team capybara for life. #RomComBracket

Look I know y’all love toe pick! But Ryan Gosling crying to Taylor Swift in his truck and having to grovel his way back into Emily Blunt’s good graces is just pure serotonin. #RomComBracket

More of you need to watch Mr. Malcolm’s List which has not one but two romance storylines and Theo James sporting an amazing mustache if you’re into that sort of thing. #RomComBracket

Just a FYI that one of my favorite historical romances of all time is currently on sale across all ebook platforms for $1.99 and I believe that price is good until 2/27 so if you have yet to discover the gloriousness that is Nate Travers, wait no longer. Seriously. Get it now.

Started this delightful book on my walk. Normally, I listen to audio books at 1.65x speed (weirdly specific but that’s the sweet spot speed for me). However, for this book, I had to take it down to 1.25x bc as much as I love Nicola Coughlan, I do need it slowed down to understand all of it.

The turkeys are back in town (more like they never actually left). Anyway, it’s a gorgeous day for a walk and just around the corner from my house, I encountered a flock of turkeys milling about. My dog was not impressed.

Movie you've watched more than 6 times, gifs only

Fucking hell.

This week’s episode of The Pitt was brutal and devastating and I sobbed like a baby and tv shows don’t normally make me cry, so if you’re planning to watch it, please have a care. This one was very very hard.

I have to say, this was probably my favorite of the whole series and I believe it’s her last contemporary romance (she switched to suspense after this) but boy did she go out with a banger of a book!

I run an Etsy shop selling jewelry made by my late mother and I haven’t done much with it in the past couple of years and randomly made a sale today and gosh that felt nice.

Alright #Romancelandia friends, hit me with your favorite audio book recs or audio book narrators. I’ve got a bunch of audible credits to use up and some recs would be helpful. I love contemporary, histroms, PNR, and most tropes except for secret baby.

The downside of reading so many books this month is that I’ve already exhausted my instant borrow limit on Hoopla and there’s still a week left to this month.

I’m almost 60% through my ARC of Bold Moves by Emma Barry, a second chance romance that is so delightfully angsty. I have no idea how Scarlett and Jaime will work through their past but the joy of a romance is experiencing the journey with the assurance that a HEA is guaranteed.

Gorgeous gorgeous sky

Given who owns the WaPo, I would imagine disseminating information truthfully and completely would not be in their wheelhouse.

You could, idk, make it at least a LITTLE difficult for them. If only there was an elderly white senator from Kentucky who has run this playbook for years against the democrats that you could use as inspo. JUST AN IDEA.

I made chili for dinner but now I wish I’d gotten some baking potatoes bc chili cheese baked potatoes sound amazing for dinner.

I’m giving it to my beloved capybara #RomComBracket
