Both @dralexpiquero.bsky.social and I were interviewed for this piece about some fluctuations in juvenile crime trends we’re experiencing in central Texas.

Before some of you argue that 16 and 17-year-olds are not “children”, know that I represented a 7-year-old during my time as a public defender and saw a child as young as 5 being prosecuted. It was horrifying and so unexpected as a new attorney.
