I would say that avoiding discomfort will certainly hinder growth. sometimes growth can be painful, but I also think it's important to ease ourselves into big changes and respect our own limits. finding that balance where our discomfort is manageable is going to be most effective in the long run

I think this piece could benefit from establishing a more concrete visual balance, maybe by using negative space or greater contrast in light/color between subject and background. people scroll by quickly and this piece is hard to discern from a short glance. I really like the arrangement & textures
