The autistic need to be precise... correct... and truthful... when sharing information and the fear of accidentally not being one of those things or being PERCEIVED as not being one of those things and the intense anxiety that comes along with it. #ifyouknowyouknow

Funny how introverts are always told to ‘speak up’ and ‘get out of their shell’… but no one ever tells extroverts to lower their volume and maybe read the room

"On Tyranny" is a #1 NYT bestseller again. I wish the moment were different. But I’m glad the book is useful. And grateful for all the kind words about putting the 20 lessons to work. snyder.substack.com/p/twenty-les...

I understand this point, but if any politician comes knocking at my door, they will not receive my vote. Same with when salespeople randomly show up to sell @ me - I will not buy from them. Cold calls, too. Disturbing me in my home is the worst possible tactic for getting me to do what you want.

“A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual doom.” -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Apparently my tortilla’s capacitive resistance is enough to scroll my iPhone.

So many things none of us will perceive will come out of today's gatherings. That's the point. People find each other, they take some strength and remember they aren't actually isolated and alone. This is fortification for what's to come.

I want everyone to understand how important this is. I was very intentionally taking a break from the world this weekend. Staying in a trailer on undeveloped land where I can barely get a phone signal (but do have WiFi, I’m not a monster). And I, an extremely introverted introvert, went to the rally

Didn’t know they’d have a #HandsOff rally up in this small little mountain town, but we had almost 200 people! I didn’t plan ahead. So I improvised my messaging.

People* are going to be pissed. Someone needs to send Tom Nook after this administration. * me - I am people

Fuck yes - this is my representative! She’s been reaching out and talking to her constituents more and more in the last month or so, and she listened and took action*. Thank you, @sarajacobs.house.gov, for keeping me a proud resident of San Diego, and for doing what is right!

In the three hours I’ve been here we’ve had: - little flurries of snow - light drizzle - beautiful sunshine (to the point where I got too hot) - absolute buckets of snow for like 10 minutes …and more. Mountain weather is wild! Hope the next 3 days are sunny, as predicted. I want to hike w/ my dog!

Get murdered * because as I've said all along, we're under attack by very bad people who have helped themselves to power and we all need to start acting like it

Geez, how do you not get it? Waltz is a man, so it’s okay. Only women that send emails are dangerous! Men sending emails cannot be hacked (they’re too strong and intimidating), so there’s no danger. But if a woman does it, her emotions will leak all her passwords to our enemies.
