i do understand why, but it is silly that rust's Vec<T> holds a RawVec<T> which holds a RawVecInner which holds a Unique<u8> which holds NonNull<u8> which holds *const u8. hope the pointer feels cozy being wrapped in 5 structs

Thinking on doing advent of code in Haskell, any tips? I like functional languages (I use Elixir at $DAILY_JOB) but never got around to really learning haskell
