Something I can share regarding #metal artist connections is a histogram showing how often artists play in the same band. The majority (~94%) only ever work with other people in one band. At least 8 people have worked with the same person in 13 bands! #metalsky #python #dataviz

Well, I thought I had 6 degrees of separation for metal artists figured out, but if the degree is higher than 4 it seems I'm running out of memory or something. Even after removing live membership and dead ends from people having been in one band, there are still over a million connections.
