Someone I knew in my teens passed away recently. One comment I saw struck me: “a good, decent man”. Interesting. When my brother passed away, some idiots thought it was karma because he was gay. Yet a wife beater is considered a decent man. It’s a long version of opposites day.

The Capital One glitch has the potential of ruining the move. I move on Wednesday and thanks to paycheck delays, we are about $1k short. I have been able to pay both rents, the car and some other bills but I’m still about $400 short. I would prefer a loan. Let me know if you can help. Thanks.

Interesting. Gen X here and I don’t think I’m the only one of my generation that never beat my child. My parents didn’t beat me but some of my school mates came to class with bruises. That was enough for me. Hubby changed diapers, fed and took care of our kid. I think that should be the rule.
