Now reading The Grapes of Wrath. What should I read next?

Shadows of the Empire tonight.

Just finished this book yesterday. A grim read but I highly recommend it.

He’s my little iPad baby.

When I was a kid, games like this used to make me so angry. It’s nice to go back. The world is a scary place, but I can hold on to a piece of the past. Playing them still makes me angry, but it’s a simple feeling. It’s nice to feel angry about something that doesn’t matter. Just for a while.

Someone’s in my reading spot.

Should I get a Dark Tower tattoo?

I’m finally finished. Holy shit what a journey.

She will sit on my lap for as long as I play. When I get up she jumps back on my lap as soon as I sit down again.

I finally get a brief escape from my hyper conservative work environment. I think I’m gonna binge on Skyrim today.

Little bit of Resident Evil 2 action tonight. Playing the Dreamcast version using Redream.

Struck up a conversation with an Amazon driver standing behind me in line at the store. I asked if they’re treated as badly as people say. Spoiler alert: they’re treated as badly as people say.

When reading a book, it’s okay not to understand it. If you easily digest everything you read, you aren’t challenging yourself. Don’t get discouraged when you read difficult books.

Spending my night enjoying a little bit of Dark Souls III action.

I give him head kisses and he gives a big toothless meow.

Today my partner came home with a gigantic gross bull horn. Because why the fuck not?

It’s crazy to me that people can automatically see the good and evil sides of a narrative when you put it in video game format. But when it comes to real life some company starts doing Shinra shit and millions of people flock to defend it. The biggest wallet pays for the most blinding lights.

This is the game I got for Christmas this year 😊

My christmas morning games and reading❤️

Me on Christmas morning in the year 2000. What a wild ride it’s been since then. Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone.

I’m so lucky 😍

I’m going to fall asleep to this video at least fifty times 🤌

I’m in love with this little bag I got on Etsy ❤️

I don’t want to be smart any more I’m going to start huffing paint

God damn (no pun intended) this book was weird. I struggled through it at first but now I can’t stop thinking about it.

My partner is camping right now 😂

Anyone else have an object that becomes a personal holy relic? This is one of mine. It’s a collection of Kurt Vonnegut novels that I read in middle school. It just sits on my shelf because I don’t want it to fall apart, but every once in a while, I take it out and think about how it blew my mind.

Yesterday I dozed off while reading a book. I dreamt that I was reading the same book. I remember thinking “this is really good but I have to remember that this is a dream so I don’t get it mixed up with the actual book”. I wish I could remember what I read in my dream.

That’s it. I’m printing off an entire ream of Minnesota drivers manuals and I’m going to start handing them out like bibles.

Ratatat is so fucking good. I always listen to instrumental music when I read but Ratatat is so good that it’s distracting.

Drove to the bookstore only to find out it isn’t doesn’t open for three more hours. Thought I’d get my tires rotated so I went to the mechanic. They can’t get me in until six hours from now. So I drove to the bar and I’m now enjoying a morning (NA) beer with my book while I kill some time.
