I hate this annual escapade. I did mine last week and halved the bill when I pointed out that new customers had a better deal compared to loyal customers. They had to remove the landline to get to this price. But I forgot I had a landline. Only lived in this house for 11 years.

We had lots very middle class people leave messages on the answerphone (that long ago) placing orders for cheese. As a kindness I’d call them back and explain unless they called the right number their order wouldn’t be processed. One even asked me to put her through to the store…

Always was. Let’s face it, all the forced positivity and self PR on there is suffocating at the best of times.

Totally agree. It’s ironic he says this under the banner of diversity and inclusion but as an older person in the workplace. It doesn’t that count in his case?

The only people worried about inheritance tax are the people who avoided paying it when working.

And I’d recommend keeping an eye out for Tony Singh. He had amazing restaurants bringing Scottish and Indian ingredients together. You see him on TV occasionally and his enthusiasm for food is infectious

Sorry. I only realised once I went back through your thread. Just ignore my initial response and hopefully someone will come up with one of the other ‘W’s when the time is right. I’ll be on the naughty step until further notice

I walked done them once in daylight. Was lucky to arrive at the bottom in one piece. Each tread seems a different height and depth. I couldn’t agree with you more.

Yeah, me too, but I’d be wandering around aimlessly if I had to try and find it in real life. I really out to get out more!
