Out of all the characters to take up the Batgirl moniker, Cassandra Cain has to be one of the best in not just narrative and character, but also design. DC achieved aesthetic nirvana with the stitched-mouth suit, and from there it was all uphill. Even as Black-Bat and Orphan, her fit is immaculate

The best case I can think for the preservation of all art is that the vast majority of major studio silent films made in the early 20th century are considered lost media.
