One out of every 7 days of the week I think too hard about how billions of animals needlessly suffer/die and it really fucks me up. I recommend it.

Every time I say I hate driving people look at me like I'm insane (or assume I'm a horrible driver). Car companies have rotted our our logical brain when it comes to cars. It's expensive, takes forever, kills thousands per year, and is incredibly inaccessible to folks with low incomes. Driving SUCKS

We need a weather app that shows the different temps of each skyway connection in downtown MPLS - they're essentially each their own climate that changes seasonally. Somehow half of them are colder than it is outside, while the others are saunas. Impossible to dress for!

Dear Minnesotans - do I really need a snow blower? I have a long (50+ ish feet) driveway and this is our first winter where we've been on the hook for clearing a significant space. They are so stupidly expensive but not getting one might be equally stupid.

One thing I think I've learned through this election cycle is that dehumanization is addictive. Once you're playing that game of ranking human worth/value it's near impossible to stop, because it feels amazing to believe you're more deserving than others, and to let that go would be crushing.
