I only now realize that the Snorlax-blocking-path trope was just #nintendo reimagining the sleeping walrus from #zelda Link's Awakening. In both cases, music wakes them up. 🎵 Imma bring that trope back. With a twist. Music will make it react excitedly, but it won't actually move. 🙃 #gaming #gamedev

Enemies now have a chance to spawn with a Bit ($). Since they can't be killed, the Bit must be collected in other ways. You can jump over an enemy to get a Bit on its head. OR whistle at one to obtain a Bit that has afflicted them. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegamedev #solodev #godot #maygame

regular reminder I have this retro lighting shader tech and have not used it for anything... 🤔 Maybe I should license it out? Supports dither based occlusion too so objects can be faded into "transparency" when the player is behind it. Also supports emissive maps. #pixelart #art #gamedev #retro
