I support action to halt avian flu. But USDA already has ways to compensate farmers for flock losses. That part is not new. The urgent need for compensation is for farmers who lose infected cattle. Lack of compensation for those losses is one reason stopping avian flu is so difficult.

It's rare that Neil Gorsuch gets it right, but here we are. Hats off to Gorsuch for recusing from the Glossip case. It is also a ray of hope that Roberts/Kavanaugh were on the right side in this and that they see prosecutorial misconduct as a bad thing. Pam Bondi is going to make this a big issue.
