Brutal.

CNN thinks this is normal.

Consumers "pulled back" after they pulled forward. Should not be a surprise.

Modern energy independence and an all-of-the-above strategy must include various mediums for energy production. Igorning and stifling solar and wind as growing sources will be detrimental to the United States and give our competitors yet another leg up. www.cnbc.com/2025/06/17/s...

Good morning. Here’s a recap of Trump at the G7

I’m watching the Panama v Guadeloupe Gold Cup game on TV as we speak. It is being played in Los Angeles. And the stadium is almost completely empty. A sport that in the U.S. is highly dependent on Latino audiences is no longer viable. The World Cup cannot come here.

I know a lot of people just don't really know much about foreign cities, but please imagine how it would go if someone told all of NYC to evacuate "immediately," and then add two million more people to that scenario

When I die I’d like the @nytimes.com editorial board to lower me into my grave so I can be let down one last time.

I assume you get automatically added to the group chat. variety.com/2025/biz/new...

Not a peep on mainstream media.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong banned political or social cause discussions at work.

This is serious, rigorous analysis and it should change the way the media has been covering these protests. These were, in the aggregate, *massive.*

Six GOP governors activated the National Guard ahead of #NoKings because they claimed the protesters may be violent. 5 million of us marched. And so far all actual violence seems to have come at the hands of counter-protesters, Christian nationalist terrorists and law enforcement.

Nobody is rioting. Nobody is breaking any laws. These are cops in my city of Las Vegas just assaulting and arresting anyone on Fremont Street who looks at them. This is fascism.

Some say this isn't who we are, but I say, this is exactly who we are.

I talk to a lot of "Middle-American" Americans, they think that this is all perfect. The Democratic Party has A LOT of work to do.

Is there a reason @msnbc.com is showing dictatorial tendencies?

The media will tell us how it's Joe Biden's fault.

How and why this is Joe Biden's fault, coming up next on CNN.

assassinations, handcuffing a senator at press conference, marines detaining a civilian, and a military parade for the president’s birthday. rough week for democracy.

law enforcement officials say they made a proactive check at Rep. Hortman's home after a lawmaker who lived nearby was shot and found a "police vehicle in the driveway with emergency lights and what appeared to be a police officer at the door coming out of the house." He was actually the gunman.

Mark Cuban should stick to the pharmaceutical industry and not blabber about stuff he knows absolutely nothing about.

“At least 3 people have been shot at the homes of Democratic lawmakers in Brooklyn Park and Champlin in Minnesota, according to law enforcement sources. The suspect is believed to be impersonating a police officer and is still at large. The first shooting happened just after 2 a.m. on Saturday”

"Versant" needs to make money.

An Army vet heading to the VA took a wrong turn—and was detained by Marines in LA. While they acted professionally, their detaining him was likely illegal under the Posse Comitatus Act. It’s another line being crossed—and it puts our Marines in a bad spot. www.reuters.com/world/us/us-...

The saddest part of this piece is that it's listed as an 'opinion', among the other Washington Post cringe worthy articles.

Reports that Israel had set up drone bases in Iran. If accurate then this, along with Ukraine’s use of truck-transported-and-delivered drones highlights possibility vulnerabilities of U.S. homeland bases to attack.

NEW: A US defense official says this attack, which Israel says will continue over multiple days, will provoke a significant Iranian response that the Israelis will then ask the United States to help counter despite the fact that it just blew up the delicate US diplomatic talks

An Israeli source is telling CNN that this is not a one-day attack on Iran. That is what we call a war.

It's hard to see any set of strikes as seriously stopping Iran from re-attaining this position of advanced breakout capacity in relatively short order. Once we see the damage, we may be able to better understand what on earth Israel is thinking or hoping to accomplish.

America’s new isolationism — summed up in one quote. 🇺🇸 @nytimes.com www.nytimes.com/2025/06/11/w...

Americans should be livid, but we won't be. We always accept encroachment onto our basic human rights as tolerable.
