Our little Atlanta based airline turns 100 today! What an amazing journey. I’ve been part of the company for about 1/4 of that time and the things I’ve been fortunate enough to do and the things we’ve weathered are just incredible. #delta #keepclimbing

How do you handle home record keeping? I hate filing bills. I stil get a ton of paper documents along with my electronic docs. I’m currently out back burning a bunch of old stuff.

For the space fans out there this is a great podcast. Mr White did a great job talking the practical aspects of working on the shuttles thermal protection system. Normal people doing extraordinary work. #16sunsets.

With the help of my dad I found the location of the track! 13 miles east of Bismarck off of Apple Creek Rd.

I’ve loved aviation and motorsports since I was a little kid. As I got older I found out my grandfather owned a racetrack in North Dakota and had a small plane. He passed when I was little, so I never had an opportunity to talk with him about those interests. In the third pic you can see a B-36.

I’m this many years old. #microsoft

I found something that the Apple Watch face does not like. I was grinding welds today and it now appears that I have metal grit embedded in the face. Noted.

For me, I got out and did some car stuff this morning. It was good to get the Mini out of the garage!

What joy do you have planned this weekend? We are having one of my daughter’s best friends and their family, including grandma visiting from Australia, over for pizza Saturday.

Anyone have a good all inclusive the recommend somewhere warm that allows teens? Looking for spring break destinations where we can all relax.

Seeing a movie six times is not a high bar for someone who grew up in the VHS era.

The first welds in the Mustang’s floor pan replacement. I spent a lot of time getting ready to install this pan. It’s not going to be perfect, but it will be strong.

Imma gonna go back out and work on my Mustang. Tell me when the race restarts.

Where is the positive side of Bluesky? I can’t take grinding in how awful Trump/Vance/Elon are 24/7. I know they suck. For those of you out there sharing good, creative, interesting stuff I appreciate you.

Was listening to @ryaneversley.bsky.social and Sean on the Dinner With Racers podcast yesterday after a rough day at work. Ryan tossed in a good bit of advice with “If you won’t think about something in 5 years don’t think about it more than 5 min now”. Solid advice.

In 1978 NASA selected a new class of astronauts, the most diverse in the agency’s history. This is their story. #16Sunsets podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/1...
