Don't think this is my medium. Quora has been my strongest so far. Have answers that continue to get frequent views. I will still enjoy viewing other posts here and the like-minded community. Nice cat pictures as well.😁

Reading assignment: "To Err is Human: Building a Safer Health System" 2000, Institute of Medicine. The journey US aviation went through to improve its own safety standards is referred to frequently in this work. It is a quick read recommended for anyone interested in health or aviation safety.

I am realizing that I have way too much to say for a Bluesky account. I will present in bits and pieces. Part of my background is being an associate director in a family medicine residency program. Patient safety was one of my teaching foci. My interest in aviation safety is enmeshed with that.

The most recent official statements from Delta Airlines can be found at news.delta.com. Their latest statement just came out this morning. Per another Bsky comment, I note that neither the word "incident" or "accident" is used.

I fear I am getting involved in some arguments about aviation safety. Below is the link for the NTSB US Civil Aviation Dashboard 2008-2023. All the statistics I use come from there. I am concerned that current changes to FAA will seriously impact safety going forward. www.ntsb.gov/safety/Stati...

I use GPS maps for my job because I drive to homes. As of today, I have downloaded the Mapquest app and it will become my default GPS map service.

For everyone so obsessed with the idea that suddenly planes are crashing like never before, go to this link: injuryfacts.nsc.org and look up airplane crashes (under home & community/safety topics). These stats come directly from NTSB.

It would be such a shame if this negatively impacted tesla stock. Oops, what have I done???

Just decided to look up and pay attention to the lyrics of Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train". Kind of suits the time we're in

At morning coffee. Question for bluesky. How did we find local federal employees that we can reach out and support?

I don't know about anyone else, but my eyes are going to be glued to the tube when Anna Paulina (R-FL) interviews member of the Warren Commission and the attending physicians that cared for JFK after his assassination.
