Watching the BAFTA red carpet and I just swell with pride whenever I see Colman Domingo. I saw him in PASSING STRANGE on Broadway many times back in 2008 and was in awe of his talent then. Makes me so thrilled to see the rest of the world catch up. Also, the best dresser on a red carpet, always!

Prob shouldn’t say this but as I’ve worked in film marketing, there is also almost no correlation between social media following + box office. You can pull out all the stops: talent posting on socials, or they are on the main IG or TT feed, & a movie can still bomb. Social media = an awareness play.

Went too hard at the gym yesterday during strength training class and now my entire lower body aches and is jelly like I have never felt before in my life. I will be in bed with a heated blanket, Theragun, and TCM on my iPad until further notice. Why do our bodies reward exercise with soreness?! 😫

I really need people who don’t take these drugs to actually understand what they do for people with mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders. Stimulants don’t make me a tweaking drug addict, they help me manage my ADHD symptoms so I can focus better and prioritize my daily tasks. The horror!!

Found out our family dog died on Saturday. She was originally set to be relieved of her pain this weekend, but she had a bad seizure and my parents didn’t want her to suffer anymore. My brother & I are very sad we didn’t get to say goodbye. RIP to The People’s Princess, Lola, she was the best dog. 💔

ASL interpreters who work in the arts (concerts, opera, theatre, etc) deserve to be valued as artists too. it takes so much skill to be this good at capturing the FEEL of music beyond just translating the meaning of the text and it’s an invaluable accessibility service
