Thanks BBC Radio 5 Live @bbc5live.bsky.social for coverage (around 8.30am today) of the music for Parkinson’s project, when we invited 7 RNCM composers to work with people with Parkinson’s to create new music

Really proud of bringing together our wonderful Royal Northern College of Music composers and people living with Parkinson’s to make new music. We had a wonderful concert premiering the 7 new pieces of music last night, and we’re really grateful to BBC North West for covering this project! 🎵 📺

We support the work, performance and recording of British/Irish composers from the last 100 years; as well as projects which further the knowledge and understanding of the life and music of Ralph and Ursula Vaughan Williams. General funding applications open on February 1.

Bravo Apple TV’s ‘Shrinking’: Doctor: how is your emotional health? Paul (who is living with Parkinson’s): I know what’s coming. I try not to dwell. Whenever I need it, I put on one of my favorite sad songs and just let myself grieve for 15 straight minutes. #AppleTV #Shrinking #MusicForSadness
