Around 5:25 pm every day the setting sun hits my disco ball planter and turns my office into a party. The trick is to remember to look up from my monitor to see this magic since it only lasts about two minutes. It's a beautiful way to end the day before I head home.

The dog chewed up an Ecobee room sensor so I threw it in the trash. And then wondered why my heater was going supernova. The sensor was chewed up but still working so now I know the inside of my trashcan outside is 48 degrees. Had to disconnect it fully. Now that's a well- built device.

I just had a very sad conversation with my mom. She asked me how I was and I answered honestly that I'm sad and worried and filled with rage. My mom voted for Trump. She said can't we just not talk about politics and said she's losing her family because of her beliefs. I had to agree with her.
